I have been playing with the Color and Contour stamps set and dies from Stampin' Up! to make 2 very different cards.
White on White
I love a white on white card it really looks sophisticated! The die set that goes with the Color and Contour stamps features several frames and I have used two of the dies to create this layering effect.
To create an even border the card blank, made from Thick Basic White is 14cm by 21cm scored at 10.5cm .
Two die cut panels using Basic White and the two largest frames from the Scalloped Contour Dies.
Scrap of Basic White for the flower
Stamp the stamp the flower in Pear Pizzaz and Magenta Madness then die cut it out
Stamp the sentiment on Pear Pizzaz on the smaller die cut piece and attach the flower with glue.
Old Olive and Mossy Meadow
This card gives a completely different effect with the rich and wonderful Misty Moonlight highlights. A simple layered card with a ribbon tied in a square not. Although the layouts in both cards are similar the finished effect is completely different.
The flower is stamped and die cut, then displayed on Basic White and Misty Moonlight Layering Circles.
Old Olive A6 tent fold base, 10.5cm by 28.9cm scored at 14.85cm
Mossy Meadow 13.9cm by 9.5cm
Beauty of the Earth DSP 13cm by 8.6cm
Scraps of Basic White for flower
Layering Circles Dies, Misty Moonlight scallopped 5.5cm circle, Basic White 4.8cm circle
Fine Art Ribbon
Stamp the flower using the outline and infill stamp in Misty Moonlight and die cut it out. i used the Pale Papaya Stamp and Write marker to add the dots on the centre of the flower.
Stick the two mats together and tie the ribbon around them using a square knot then adhere to the card front.
Glue the Basic White circle to the Misty Moonlight, add the die cut flower using dimensionals
Attach the topper to the card using dimensionals
I hope you enjoy making these cards, I look forward to seeing pictures of your creations!
