Simple Card Tutorial Using Hand-Penned Petals

This week's card making tutorial features a card we made in one of my monthly Zoom classes.

My monthly Zoom class helps you start your Sunday with some card making in the comfort of your own home. In addition to the kit, I also provide a PDF with all the instructions you need so you can either join the class or make the cards at anytime. In addition, you will need some stamps, inks and your basic craft kit.

The Zoom class usually starts at 10:30am, the cost £12.00, free for my team members.

Back to the card!! I used the colours from the designer series paper for my stamping. My favourite thing about Stampin' Up! is that everything coordinates and takes out so much of the guess work!!

The Hand-Penned Petals stamp set gives a loose water colour finish that I love and the sentiments are gorgeous too. Here are the measurements and instructions for making the card.

Materials

Mint Macaron A6 book fold card blank

Basic White two pieces 13.9cm by 9.5cm plus deckled rectangle, approx. 10cm by 6.8cm

DSP Country Lane Floral, 13.4cm by 9cm

Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon, 12cm

Champagne Rhinestones

Stamp set, Hand-Penned Petals

Ink Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue and Petal Pink

Instructions

Stamp the image and sentiment on the Deckled Rectangle.

Glue the DSP to one of the Basic White pieces, add the ribbon about a third of the way up securing on the back then glue to the front of the card.

Add the Deckled Rectangle on dimensionals, decorate with the rhinestones. Glue the remaining piece of Basic White to the inside.

I do hope this inspires you to make a card, I'd love you to share your makes on my FaceBook group

Happy crafting, Linda xx
