Angels of Peace Card

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Silver To Silver Elite group I belong to. My card features the new Stampin' Up! Angels of Peace stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! July - December 2021 Mini Catalogue. It's a lovely simple card setting off the image of the angel perfectly.

Materials

Gorgeous Grape, A6 book fold card base, 21cm by 14.85cm scored from the long side at 10.5cm

Whisper White, two pieces 14.4cm by 10cm plus one 7cm by 4cm

DSP from Penguin Playmates 14.4cm by 10cm

Instructions

1. Stamp the Angel in the centre of one of the large pieces of Basic White in Memento Black ink and colour. I used Stampin’ Blends Combos in Smoky Slate, Highland Heather, plus Ivory and Bronze. The Smoky Slate wasn’t quite as pale as I’d hoped, I will use a lighter colour next time.

2. Cut out the angel using the second to largest frame from the Scalloped Contours dies.

3. Stamp the sentiment on the smaller piece of Basic White and cut out with the smallest frame from Scalloped Contours dies.

4. Assemble the card. Adhere the remaining piece of Basic White inside the card. Stick the DSP to the front and add the die cuts using dimensionals.
